Откуда берется грыжа?

Кордовые слои находятся внутри, между слоями резины, поэтому, на шине их не видно ни с внутренней стороны, ни с внешней. И так, боковины покрышек защищены только синтетическим кордом, и по этому, чаще травмируются. При попадании колеса в яму, или наезде на какое либо препятствие (камень, бордюр, и т.п.) особенно на высокой скорости, автошина «пробивается» до диска. Т.е. она полностью сжимается и ее прижимает между препятствием и колесным диском. И если удар был достаточно сильный, то при этом повреждаются синтетические волокна, расположенные внутри боковины покрышки. А поскольку сама резина эластичная, то под давлением воздуха, изнутри в месте повреждения (где порваны волокна) выдавливается грыжа. Размер грыжи зависит от того, сколько волокон повреждено.
Опасно ли ездить с грыжей?
При движении автомобиля, колеса принимают на себя все неровности дороги и испытывают порой, большие перегрузки особенно в поворотах и на неровной дороге. Грыжа (этот резиновый пузырь, который уже не удерживают корды) может неожиданно лопнуть. Это крайне опасно, особенно на больших скоростях и поворотах. Шина мгновенно сдуется, а автомобиль может потерять управление.
Движение на колесе с грыжей опасно! Если же у Вас нет возможности заменить или отремонтировать покрышку, то примите меры предосторожности:
- Если колесо стоит спереди, переставьте его назад.
- Не двигайтесь с большой скоростью, особенно на поворотах.
